The worst thing is a couple of the characters were annoying, there was some bad acting and some songs were played repeatedly, which got annoying. Juan's loyalty and devotion to her makes him a loving character. The connection between Yeimy and Juan is so touching.

The best thing about this first season is the complex story and how every episode is filled with drama and music. It was entertaining and it really introduced me to reggaeton music. I have never watched a show with so many episodes. Season 1: I watched the first season in about 3 to 4 days.

This review contains spoilers for seasons 1 and 2. There may have been a few other plot holes, but i I don't really recall them, so it must have not mattered much. I would have also liked to know how many years Charley got in the end. Was it yeimy and juanchos boy? Juancho and catas baby? Or did erik and irma have a baby? It didn't really clarify that. I also don't exactly understand who the baby was at the very end. Perhaps Yeimy didn't have the guts to tell her, but i kind of wonder what would have happened if she had ever found out. spoiler alert ahead: One was that Zulma never found out that Yeimy was the one that took the scandalous video of her and Charley. There are a few minor plot holes that came up, but they were far and few between and probably don't matter much. Some of it feels a little overplayed though. If a second season were to ever be made, i have no idea how they can top this first season. I practically became a usless bum because of how addictive it was.
#THE QUEEN OF FLOW SERIES#
I often find that its hard to live up to a classic such as the count of monte cristo, but this series definitely holds its own. Lol However this is definitely a fresh take on the classic tale of the deepest kind of betrayal and the determined revenge that follows. And now that i type that, i find it even more ironic how close monte and montoya sound. If edmond dantes was a modern, musically inclined columbian woman you would have Yeimy Montoya.
